The Book Aunties began, as many good things do, in an elementary school cafeteria, where two girls became fast friends.
We grew up with our noses in books, each of us chasing dragons, befriending unlikely heroes, and wandering far beyond the edges of the map. Stories shaped our childhood and stitched magic into the everyday.
We believe books are more than pages; they’re doorways, lanterns, and companions. Through every box, bundle, and bag we send, we invite young readers to step into the wonder, to feel seen, and to remember: there’s always room at the table, always another story waiting to be told, and always magic lingering around us.
Now, as mothers ourselves, we deeply believe in the magic of a shared connection between children and the adults that care for them. With formal education and training in Child Development and Psychology, we understand the importance of cultivating and nurturing bonds in the home.
